Anonymous asked: I just caught the last 10 or so minutes of "The Reichenbach Fall" in the UK. I've never watched this series before, but damn, I'm intrigued. Do you think it's worth it to go all the way back to the first episode? And is series 3 confirmed?

Hahaha, oh, dear.  I’m obviously glad you’re interested, but what a way to be introduced to the show.

If you’re going to watch Sherlock, then, yes, it is necessary to go to episode one of series one.  And it is very much worth it.  Mini series(es..) feel more like films to me than a television programme, and so, while jumping in in the middle doesn’t mean that you won’t understand the plot, it will screw with your reaction to different plotlines, plot twists, et cetera.  You really need to get to know these characters to get the full impact, and from the beginning of the story like the writers intended.

But yes, I think that this is one of, if not the best-developed television series on the air.  It’s just plain good.  I hope you enjoy it.
